You’ve booked your boudoir session, scheduled your hair + makeup, and decided on a location. The next step is figuring out what the hell you’re gonna wear and trust us, we know that shopping for lingerie can really feel daunting. Stress no more, because we’ve put together this boudoir lingerie shopping guide to help you find something that will bring out your inner Goddess and leave you feeling sexy, empowered, and ready to work it in front of the camera.

For Love & Lemons

If you’ve followed us for a while you know that this brand is my personal favorite. Like, I’m obsessed. I don’t think there is a single piece of lingerie they’ve put out there that I haven’t been in love with. The quality is impeccable, the details are eye-catching, and you’ll feel so chic and sexy.

What started as a shapewear brand by Kim Kardashian has now grown into so much more. A little more on the casual and simple side, but we love a simple, casual look. There is a skin tone available for everyone and we love the fact that these pieces can be worn over and over and over again. Also, did you see this shoot with Kourtney K and Megan Fox? Megan is my ultimate girl crush so, I died for this.

Torrid’s bras were specifically designed for bustier babes, offering more support where needed. At Torrid you’ll find solids and basic pieces as well as more colorful and playful designs. A current favorite of ours is this black lace bodysuit with cutouts in alllllll the right places 😉

Savage x Fenty

Rihanna’s popular lingerie line exceeds expectations. It’s affordable, size-inclusive, stylish, and sexy. Any of their items will help you release your sexy side, and they won’t break the bank. Check out this sexy little leather set for an exciting and unexpected twist on your wardrobe looks.

Nubian Skin

Because “nude” isn’t one-shade-fits-all. Nubian Skin founder, Ade Hassan, created a gorgeous line of lingerie showcasing pieces with tones that mimic Black and brown skin. This sheer bodysuit that comes in multiple shades of nude is a current favorite of ours.

Fleur du Mal

Another major favorite of mine, Fleur du Mal carries pieces that are sexy and comfortable enough to wear whenever the mood strikes. You’ll find lacey florals, sexy silks, and everything in between. A current favorite of ours is the Monet Embroidered Cheeky and bralette, which features silky floral embroidery, tulle fabric, and a playful little keyhole detail in the back of the undies.

Agent Provacateur

A delicious splurge if you really want to go all out, and let’s be honest – you deserve it Hunny. Made to sculpt, shape, and support morning to midnight – this brand offers items that are practical and easy to wear, as well as those special pieces for moments like this – your boudoir session.

Coco De Mer

If you love lace and florals, then you’re going to love everything Coco De Mer. Check out this gorgeous playsuit with all the sweetest little added touches. Could also be a sexy way to incorporate your “something blue” for those of you that are brides.

The lingerie retailer has its own line that’s a little less pricey than designer pieces, but it still has the same quality and luxe look. Find a mix of sexy little things on this website ranging from budget-friendly to splurge-worthy. And check out these panties, holy smokes.

This brand is all about show-stopping pieces—I mean, just look at this. Sure, you may not want to through these pieces on under your jeans and head out, but the brand definitely focuses on eye-catching designs that will have you looking and feeling your sexiest at your boudoir session – and in the bedroom 😉
